Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • For the marinade:
    • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
    • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
    • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chopped spring onions for garnish

Method

  • In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and sriracha. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or sealable bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions before serving.
