Beef cooked in a pressure cooker tenderises perfectly for this recipe. It turns out so juicy and flavourful!
Ingredients
- 500g beef shoulder diced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- beef stock
- 1 onion chopped
- chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- chopped red chilli
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
Instructions
- Begin by searing the beef in a pan until it is browned all over.
- Once the beef is browned remove it from the cooking bowl.
- Add the onion to the pan and cook until softened.
- Next add the garlic and stock to the pan and cook until the liquid is reduced by half.
- Add in the remaining ingredients to the pan.
- Return the beef to the pan close and lock the lid and pressure cook on high for 60 minutes with a quick pressure release.
- After cooking remove the beef from the pan and moisten it with some of the sauce.
- Finally serve the beef in warmed tacos for a delicious and satisfying meal.
