Pressure Cook Beef Tacos

Beef cooked in a pressure cooker tenderises perfectly for this recipe. It turns out so juicy and flavourful!

Ingredients

  • 500g beef shoulder diced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • beef stock
  • 1 onion chopped
  • chilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • chopped red chilli
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed

Instructions

  1. Begin by searing the beef in a pan until it is browned all over.
  2. Once the beef is browned remove it from the cooking bowl.
  3. Add the onion to the pan and cook until softened.
  4. Next add the garlic and stock to the pan and cook until the liquid is reduced by half.
  5. Add in the remaining ingredients to the pan.
  6. Return the beef to the pan close and lock the lid and pressure cook on high for 60 minutes with a quick pressure release.
  7. After cooking remove the beef from the pan and moisten it with some of the sauce.
  8. Finally serve the beef in warmed tacos for a delicious and satisfying meal.
