Air fry brownies have a unique flavour profile that balances the richness of traditional brownies with a slightly lighter texture. The exterior is usually crisp, providing a delightful contrast to the moist and fudgy interior.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 160°C (320°F) for about 5 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Line a small baking pan or dish that fits into your air fryer with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Place the pan in the air fryer basket and air fry at 160°C (320°F) for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out mostly clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting them into squares. Serve and enjoy!
- 💡 You can add nuts, chocolate chips, or marshmallows to give your brownies a special twist.
- 💡 For fudgier brownies, reduce the cooking time slightly. For a more cake-like texture, increase it by a few minutes.
- 💡 Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
