Air Fry Potato Fries

Air frying potato fries is the best method. Add whatever spices you like to the hand made fries or keep a bag of frozen handy for those meals in a hurry.

Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Optional seasonings: garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, etc.

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for about 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Then, drain and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  3. Place the dried potatoes in a bowl and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings until evenly coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 380-400°F (190-200°C) for a few minutes.
  5. Cook the fries in the air fryer for about 15-20 minutes, shaking or flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  6. Check the fries for desired crispiness. If needed, cook for an additional few minutes until they reach your preferred level of crispiness.
  7. Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer and season with additional salt if desired. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Enjoy your crispy and delicious air-fried potato fries!
